"What if we raised a generation that looked at the world's problems
not with resignation, but with the mindset of a builder?"
Flintolabs began between two old friends — engineers who met as undergrads and found themselves working together again years later at Microsoft. But it was during a casual catch-up that a different kind of collaboration began to take shape.
We kept hearing the same question from parents in our networks: "Are there any internships for high schoolers? Something meaningful?" The reality was disheartening. With layoffs sweeping through the industry, internships were few and far between — especially for students just starting to explore what they were capable of.
Ayesha remembered learning to code as a teenager. It wasn't just about the technology — it was about having a creative outlet. A way to experiment freely, solve real problems, build things for people she cared about, and feel genuinely empowered. That feeling stayed with her. She wanted to give it to every student.
Janani had her own realization during her MBA. What if we raised a generation of young people who looked at problems not with resignation, but with the mindset of a builder? What if students didn't wait for someone to hand them a job — but were equipped to create their own opportunities?
That question became the foundation of Flintolabs.
We started with a program. We discovered a platform. And when AI changed everything about how companies work, we built the internship that prepares students for the workplace that already exists — AI-orchestrated, real tools, real products, real credentials. When we couldn't find a platform that met our standards for safety, engagement, and effectiveness, we built one ourselves.
That's how Flintolabs came to life: born out of the belief that every student should have the tools to be a changemaker. Not someday. Now.
We are at the beginning of something much larger than a program. The experience paradox — where students can't get jobs without experience, and can't get experience without jobs — is not a niche problem. It is a generational crisis that affects millions of students every year, across every background, every geography, every ambition.
Flintolabs is building the infrastructure to give every student access to a real AI-native internship — regardless of who they know, where they live, or what school they attend. We are scaling to reach the students who need this most, before the gap between the prepared and the unprepared becomes impossible to close.
We are backed by the belief that the next generation of builders, founders, and leaders is already out there. They just need the tools, the experience, and someone who believes they can do it. That's what Flintolabs is for.
Whether you're a student ready to build, a parent looking for something real, a school looking to partner, or an investor who believes in this mission — we'd love to hear from you.
