Earn college credit while you learn.

Flintolabs partners with LivedX to offer transferable college credit through the University of Colorado Denver.

Cost

Both the LivedX registration fee and the college credit fees are included in the price. Students are eligible for credit after successful completion of Semester 2.

The process

What to expect.

Complete Semester 2 Startup School pitch.

Opt for college credits. During this time we will collect some additional information to register with LivedX.

Submit course artifacts and reflections. These are approved.

Apply for credits from CU Denver. Once course artifacts are approved the student fills out the Undergraduate Continuing and Professional Education Application. After the student is accepted, they register for college credit as an Undergraduate Non-Degree Student through CU Denver and LivedX. Once registered, college credit is granted at the end of the semester.

Students must finish their LivedX artifact upload and apply for credit within the same calendar year in which they originally enrolled.

College credit FAQ

I'm a high school student. Can I still earn college credit?
Yes! High school students are eligible to receive college credit. The only restriction is that you must be at least 13 years old to enroll on LivedX.
I'm not currently enrolled in college. Can I still earn college credit?
Yes! You do not need to be enrolled at a college or university to earn college credit with Flintolabs and CU Denver.
I'm currently enrolled at a college. Can I earn credit for my Flintolabs program with my home institution?
Most institutions will allow you to transfer your credits from CU Denver to your home institution.
I already completed a Flintolabs program phase last year. Can I still get credit?
Yes! Flintolabs alumni who completed their equivalent program within the past 12 months can earn college credit. Email us at studentsuccess@flintolabs.com to understand the details.
Can I use scholarships or financial aid to earn credit?
If you are currently enrolled as a CU Denver undergraduate student, you may be eligible for financial aid. Please contact CPE@ucdenver.edu for more information. If you are not enrolled as a CU Denver undergraduate student, you are unlikely to be eligible for financial aid.
Can I choose which semester I enroll in?
Yes, students can request to be enrolled in a future semester if they are near the semester deadline. Students must complete their LivedX artifact upload and application for credit within the same calendar year in which they originally enrolled.
What if I don't complete the LivedX artifact upload before the semester ends?
Students who don't complete before the end of the semester will be allowed to continue working in the next semester for no additional fees. However, students must complete their upload and application within the same calendar year.
How long does the LivedX artifact upload take?
Since these artifacts are based on work you have already done during the program or a reflection of your learning, this should take only a few hours.
I completed an AI program through another company. Can I earn college credit?
Please reach out to the other company to check if they work with LivedX. The process on this page is only for students who have taken the Flintolabs program.
