// Questions

Quick answers.

Ambitious middle and high schoolers who want to build real AI skills, create something from scratch, and start their career early. Success requires curiosity, grit, and a bias for action. No prior coding or tech experience needed.
No. This is not a coding program. You'll learn the AI tools that let you build your idea without writing traditional code. Cursor, Claude Code, and v0.dev do the heavy lifting — you focus on building and shipping.
About 1.5 hours a week to start — one Saturday session during Foundations and Mastery. During the Flintern internship phase, we scope the project around however much time you have, whether that's 5 hours or 20 hours per week.
After graduating Startup School, students apply for a Flintern internship. They're matched to a real project on a product team, work with real tools (Slack, Linear, GitHub), receive feedback from mentors and AI coworkers, and ship their work to the Flintolabs Marketplace. Each cycle is 8 weeks, and students can continue interning as long as they subscribe.
Every week, parents receive a personalized update about what their child built that week, what they're working toward, and one thing to ask them at dinner. No other program does this.
